Description:
Romantic 18th century farmhouse surrounded by ancient stone walls and towering maples. Most of its historic features remain intact. Enjoy your breakfast by the huge fireplace in the Great Room or on the large wicker furnished porch in the warmer months. The unforgettable full breakfast includes fresh seasonal fruit, homemade bread and muffins, special entrees such as Havarti Dill Eggs or Orange Zest French Toast and is topped off with coffee that Ken has roasted especially for you at the inn. The five guest rooms (two are suites) are tastefully and comfortably decorated with antiques and collectibles and all have private baths and air conditioning. Two have working fireplaces. Joyce displays her collections of lusterware, antique toys, baskets and yellow ware. When you return to your room in the evening you will find your beds have been turned down and custom Belgian chocolates have been placed on your pillows. Joyce and Ken will assist you in planning your trip to the Berkshires and hope to make your stay a memorable one. Sadie, their black lab, is the official greeter for the inn.
