Open since May 1993, the Acorn Cottage Bed & Breakfast is a charming, granite Arts and Crafts bungalow, located in Asheville, North Carolina, 1/2 mile from the entrance to North Carolina's #1 tourist attraction, the Biltmore Estate. Acorn Cottage Bed & Breakfast boasts four guest rooms, all with private baths, queen size beds, cable TV, and nightly turndown service. Refreshments are served in the Sun Room each afternoon and can range from fabulous chocolate chip cookies or double chocolate brownies with pink lemonade in the summer, to hot Russian or Apple-Cinnamon tea with melt in your mouth oatmeal cookies in front of a roaring fire in the fall or winter. A delightful morning meal is served in the Dining Room looking toward the famed Biltmore Estate forest, and a view of Mt. Pisgah, a landmark in the Blue Ridge Mountain range.
