Beautiful, historic antebellum home featuring 8 guestrooms each with private in-room bath, King or Queen bed, full breakfast included. Located close to Andersonville National Historic Site, POW museum, Civil War Village and Jimmy Carter National Historic Site in Plains, Georgia. In Americus, you can visit the Internation headquarters of Habitat for Humanity and their Global Village and Discovery Center. All rooms equipped with color cable TV/VCR with onsite movie library, telephone with voice mail, hairdryer, iron with ironing board, bath amenities and more. 24 hour refreshments including soft drinks, coffee, teas and homemade chocolate biscotti. For golfers, local golf course offers 27 holes for $24 including an electric cart!

 The Best
Recently we spent two nights at the Americus Garden Inn in Americus, GA.
We have stayed at several bed and breakfasts, but Garden Inn proved to be the best.
The house is old and very charming. The rooms are large with such comfortable beds and private baths. Kim and Susan were so gracious and helpful. Kim took extra time to tell us about historic places nearby and wonderful places to eat.
The breakfasts are delicious, especially the angel flake biscuits. They, alone, are worth a trip back in the future.
This is truly a great place to spend some time. They make you feel like family.

Americus Garden Inn, way beyond outstanding!
If there was a six star rating this couple would rate it! The facilites, room, breakfast, and hospitality was above anything we have ever experienced. This, our first stay at this fabulous B&B was to visit the nearby national attractions?ur next visit will be just to relax and enjoy the comforts of Americus Garden Inn....be sure to ask for the Shirred Eqgs with Bacon for breakfast (my favorite)!

Americus Garden Inn is the Best Ever
We have had a week to reflect upon our visit to the Americus Garden Inn B & B in Americus, GA. We can say, unequivocally, it was our best B & B experience ever! The owners and caring innkeepers, Kim & Susan, provided us with a gorgeous, pre-civil war establishment with more than the comforts of home. It was scrupulously clean, very quiet, and tastefully appointed. They also provided us with stimulating conversation,helpful hints about the community and its historic sites, among them Andersonville and Plains, and cooked and served delicious hot breakfasts. They will personally confirm tourist info such as opening and closing times, cheerfully make dinner reservations, whatever else you may want. Finding out it was my birthday weekend, special attention was given us via rose-petal and chocolates turndown service. We left there feeling like we had added a son and daughter to our family. We will be back!
