The inn build in 1886 entirely from old-growth redwood, a former Wells Fargo stage coach stop is now a comfortable and cozy inn. Located in the very center of the Anderson Valley wine country, the Philo Pottery Inn serves a generous and lavish breakfast each morning. The local wineries, among them Navarro Vineyards, Roederer Cellars and Husch are only minutes away. The northern California coast and the town of Mendociono are a short drive from the Philo Pottery Inn. Nature walks, wine tasting, dining, shopping are just a few of the things to do here. Upon arrival at the Philo Pottery Inn you are welcomed with a complimentary glass of local wine, always featuring a different local vineyard. Afternoon tea, home baked treats, ports and chocolates are always available to our guests. An in-house massage is available by our licensed masseuse. Private tours, tastings at one of the local wineries can be arranged with a bit of advance notice.
