 Very Charming - Get a room with a fireplace!
My fiance took me here to propose in late October. The hotel staff was very kind, it was definitely a B&B, not a "hotel", but our room was wonderful, the fireplace was so romantic, and the place really is as pretty as the pictures, even without the snow. My only gripe was the bed - it was extremely uncomfortable, so I recommend bringing something to cushion thebed if you have any back problems, just in case it wasn't just our room.
The morning breakfast didn't end obnoxiously early, and had a choice of french toast, pancakes, and I think eggs. It was all very good, very home-y feeling. We stayed in the carraige house, not in the main house.
Looking forward to returning this winter.

 Wonderful Inn in Waterbury, Vt
We had a fabulous time at the Thatcher Brook Inn! It is beautiful and the owners and staff are so nice and very friendly. Our room was lovely and very comfy and had a HUGE jet tub.
We really enjoyed the breakfasts that came with the room (yummy eggs, fabulous french toast, great pancakes, juice, fresh fruit and endless, delicious coffee). After a wonderful day of skiing at Bolton Valley (great snow and conditions) we came back to our warm and cozy room to relax and then sat by the beautiful fire downstairs.
We'd go back to the inn in a minute and certainly will go back next year.

OUR ANNIVERSARY GETAWAY
MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS BED/BREAKFAST NOW FOR TWO YEARS FOR OUR ANNIVERSARIES. THIS YEAR WILL BE OUR THIRD TIME VISITING DURING THE OCTOBER MONTH FOR THE FALL FOLIAGE. THATCHER BROOK INN HAS BECOME A YEARLY TRADITION FOR US, THE HOMEMADE BLUEBERRY CRUMB CAKE SERVED WITH BREAKFAST IS OUR FAVORITE MORNING WAKE UP.

Thankyou for our wonderful stay!
We had our second overnight stay of 2007...Each stay we found our room wonderfully cozy, clean, and comfortable...the breakfast was delicious (we love the frenchtoast and waffles...fresh fruit cup, sausage, toast, coffee and juice and I took home the quiche recipe)...We look forward to many more trips to the area...Thanks again for a wonderful stay! (the snow is awesome too!!!)
