Wildberry Lodge is constructed of hand peeled/notched, full length, red pine logs. The Lodge is nestled in the Newfound Mountains in Western North Carolina, 20 minutes from Asheville and close to the Smoky Mountains National Park. The lodge is reminiscent of the historic national park lodges. Much of the first floor rooms can be viewed from the foyer. The Great Hall has a massive stacked stone fireplace, comfortable reading chairs, and a game table. This room is great for socializing, sitting by the fire on a cool morning or evening or playing a game of chess. Come visit us and enjoy the spectacular mountain views/sunsets from the sundeck and relax in our bentwood hickory rockers on the covered porch. The lodge has 5 guestrooms all with telephones and modem connections, luxury linens, temperature control, ceiling fans and private baths and balconies. The loft area is equipped with stocked guest refrigerator, satellite television, VCR, and CD player. Guests have access to the video, CD and book collections. The Game room has a stone fireplace, pool table, satellite television, and great mountain and valley views. Both full and continental breakfasts are served and are included in the price of the room.
