ACCOMMODATIONS
Seven bedrooms, including two poolside cottages, are elegantly decorated in 18th and 19th century antique or reproduction furnishings that provide traditional "Southern Comfort" in reminiscent Old World Floridian style. Rooms at the Inn are heated, air conditioned and have their own private bath, Jacuzzi style tubs, walk-in showers, cable TV, Queen and King size
poster beds. Nightly rates range: $105-155 (In Season and weekends) $105 - 140 (Off season weekdays).Weekly rates are available.
Our largest room, the Palmetto Suite, has a wonderful view of the Manatee River which can be enjoyed either from the bedroom or from one of two oversized Queen Anne chairs in its' adjoining sitting room. The bedroom contains a king size 18th century English style mahogany poster bed complimented by a circa 1850 English Oak armoire.
The Regatta Suite is decorated in blue regalia Jacobean floras and is beautifully furnished with a queen size ornamental 19th century cherry poster bed reminiscent of river homes from a bygone era. This charming room offers our guests the best in comfort and romantic solitude.
The Anna Maria Room is the epitome of Victorian charm. This Turret shaped river view room is decorated in an old-fashioned style of floras and lace. A labor of love, this room offers mid 1800 American Eastlake furnishings including a seven-foot high exquisitely carved bed headboard, walnut desk, dresser and rocking chair.
Lillie's Garden Room is small but quaint. Formerly the home's sleeping porch, this room offers the simplistic beauty and essence of a country garden. The bedroom contains a queen size bed with a six-foot high intricately hand painted 12-panel floral headboard. Read your favorite book in the comfort of an old-fashioned wicker rocking chair.
The Riverview Room offers our guests a first floor panoramic view of the Manatee River. Silhouetting sunsets are extraordinary. This room has its' own private entrance .The Inn is an Arts and Crafts period house and the Mission style furnishings of this room reflect the simple elegance of that era. The room, which contains a queen size bed and loveseat, is decorated with an interesting eye towards the Orient.
Our two private poolside Cottages are decorated in a unique way. Themes reflect the an intriguingly Exotic 19th century Key West ambience, or a Romantically Eclectic European atmosphere including a king-size iron canopy bed.
