The Oakwood Inn is Raleigh’s first B&B. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the house was built in 1871 and is one of the four surviving homes of the original 11 that started the Historic Oakwood neighborhood. All six rooms are decorated with period antiques and have private baths, Cable TV some with VCR’s, private phone lines, and working fireplaces. A full chef’s choice breakfast is served each morning. Evening cordials and complimentary refreshments are also available.
