Description:
Step into the 1873 Old City House Inn and Restaurant and you will be swept away with its historic relevance and distinctive legacy to St. Augustine. Pair the Inn with its charming new innkeepers, Ilse and James Philcox, and you have a world-class story of romance and adventure! Old City House, St. Augustine’s only Historic Inn with a full service restaurant, was fully remodeled in 2001 to recapture its spanish colonial revival architecture. The rooms now reflect romantic "Old Cities" such as Venice and Paris as well as themes of "Out of Africa" and "Passage to India." The restaurant features fine dining in a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Our menu features a global array of dishes including: Low County Fried Grits, Pecan Encrusted Duck Breat, Thai and Indian Curries, Mediterraenan Pork, and the best steak in town served with a whiskey-shrimp beurre blanc. James and Ilse invite you to visit the Old City House Inn where old fashioned hospitality begins in America's oldest city.
