We have been in business Since 1985. We are honored to be Metamora as well as Franklin Counties First Bed and Breakfast. The Inn was established by Mike and Jean Owens. In 2010 the 2nd generation of Owens’ took over the “family” business. Chris and Sandy are Mike and Jeans Son and Daughter in Law. They have been a part of the Thorpe House for over 20 years. We invite you to stay at our “circa”1840-1870 Inn. We are located 1 block N of the Historic Whitewater Canal, in the Historic Village of Metamora. We will make ourselves available to make sure your stay is restful, comfortable, and memorable. Metamora is a great place for a Family Vacation, Romantic Couples Getaway, or an Outdoor adventure. All of these are within walking distance or a short drive. Metamora has Gift shops, Antique Shops, Hiking, Nature Walks, Beautiful Scenery, and Festivals. If you are up for a quick trip, within minutes, you can be Canoeing, OffRoading, Horseback Riding, Fishing, Swimming, Hunting. Nearby, there is the Nightlife of Hollywood Casino, and Downtown Cincinnati. Inside you will find our Guest Rooms. All of which are individually decorated, they all have their own unique character. All of our rooms have their own private bathrooms, we rooms with Full Beds, King Bed, Twin Beds, or our 2 Room Suite Your accommodations include: Complimentary Beverages, Ice, Snacks, Full Breakfast, and Wireless High Speed Internet Connection. We also have a Restaurant and 40+ seat Dining Room. We serve homemade Soups, Sandwiches, Desserts, as well as Buffets and Full Meals. On weekends we offer a Breakfast Buffet with over 25 ever changing home cooked items. It is served from 7:30am- 11:00am. Midwest Living named us their Favorite Down Home Breakfast Spot!
