Welcome to the Penny Farthing Inn, a Victorian bed and breakfast at 83 Cedar Street in historic downtown St. Augustine. The main house was built in 1887 and transformed into a seven-room bed & breakfast in 1990. Paul Schwartz and Connie Goodwin Schwartz are the residing innkeepers. This charming Victorian home transports you to a simpler time with its turn of the century ambience. There are seven elegant bedchambers, two of which are suites. Each is tastefully decorated in period antiques and has its own covered porch. The parlor is elegant, yet inviting, with its fireplace, gaming table, and sitting area. All areas of the home, inside and out, are decorated with comfort and relaxation in mind. Our gourmet breakfast will delight you each morning. And, to restore you in the afternoon, complimentary snacks and beverages, including wine and beer, are available. Situated one block off of King Street next to the Lightner Museum, the Penny Farthing Inn is quiet, yet still within easy walking distance of St. Augustine's attractions. Park your car in our driveway when you arrive and leave it. Then find out as you meander through the streets enjoying our shops, museums, and attractions why the city has endured since the days of Ponce de Leon.
