Description:
On the edge of Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, China Doll offers two complete self-contained apartment suites with private entrances. There is a one-bedroom garden apartment and a two bedroom second floor unit. Unlike a Bed & Breakfast, there are no shared facilities.
Designed as corporate apartments, the in unit office areas include a computer with MS Office, high-speed cable Internet access, scanner, color inkjet printer, black and white laser printer, photocopier, CD writer, and fax machine. The garden unit conference room seats four and is equipped with an overhead projector and a wall-mounted television with computer hook-up. Full color laser printing is available on the wireless network.
We also tend to your personal comfort. There is a private two-person Jacuzzi and steam room (robes and slippers provided). An assortment of aromatherapy oils is available for use in the Jacuzzi and steam room. Entertainment consisting of premium cable TV, VCR’s with a library of movies, stereo, and CD player can be enjoyed either in front of the fireplace or in bed. During nice weather enjoy the deck and private garden.
For breakfast, help yourself to the variety of coffees, teas, juices, muffins, bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, cream cheese, and other fixings. We will stock the kitchen with any specially requested breakfast items.
Other amenities include washer and dryer, built in ironing board, and shoe shining equipment. For your trips to the beach, Grant Park, or Ravina concerts, we provide chairs, wheeled cooler, umbrella, and towels.
The neighborhood offers a broad range of restaurants, theaters, bars, and live music. Kingston Mines, Chicago Blue, Briar Street Theater, Lincoln Park, Lake Michigan, and the beach are within walking distance.

"Home"
China Doll III was a great part of our Chicago adventure. Coming "home" every day after exploring the windy city to a place that felt like home was far better than any hotel room. We enjoyed the kitchen and bountifully stocked fridge, the jacuzzi, full cable TV, and the space. Our highest recommendations and we hope to go back some day soon!

Why would any Chicago visitor want to stay wanywhere else?
This was our second stay at the China Doll, and yet our expectations were exceeded once again. We could go on and on about the fabulous kitchen, the wonderful bathroom, the comfortable bed, the clever air matress, the excellent location, competitive rates, and the warm and generous hospitality. The bottom line is, we will definitely return to China Doll and we will recommend it to our friends. Why would any Chicago visitor want to stay anywhere else?

Amazing Home
From the moment I walked thru the doors, the environment reduced my stress level, ten fold. The shower is fantastic! I was taken away to another place and time each morning.
