Great off the road place
This place, a little off the regularly beaten tourist path, can be found in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The apartments, where we stayed, were clean and very comfortable. Towels are changed everyday. The price is reasonable. Dinner is just marvelous.. each plate, better than the other, follow every course. They use a kind of "fixed menù" concept so that what has been prepared for any particular evening is prepared for everyone...the owner explains that in this way they offer only the freshest quality foods. From our experience...we would recommend it highly. Dinner is not included in the price. We paid 50 euro a person, and that included their local wines (a light and sparkling Lambrusco and a Trebbiano), nocino and coffee. Worth every penny! As someone else wrote, we were also aware of telecameras, but they are present only in the parking lot...we did not feel watched at all. The grounds are beautiful also in autumn...with all the changing colors. There is no public transport directly to the Villa, but in town, about 15 minutes walk away, there are trains and buses. I will surely come back for another week end trip!
