The Hornibrook Mansion , completed in 1888, has been described by the National Historic Register as the best example of ornate Gothic Victorian Queen Anne style in Arkansas and the surrounding region. It boasts a magnificent divided stairway, a 3 1/2 story tower, 8 ft. stained glass skylight, six original Eastlake fireplaces, and octagonal shaped rooms which create a massive structure representing late-nineteenth century architecture in its most flamboyant style. The authentic period restoration of three formal sitting parlors, foyer, library, dining room, "secret" turret card room, and five guest rooms makes this one of the most elegant and romantic accomodations West of the Mississippi.
