This unique 1915 southern colonial bed and breakfast home was ordered from the Sears " BIG BOOK " catalogue. The Milton was the name for the floor plan, one of many Sears designs sold at the turn of the century. The MILTON HOUSE bed and breakfast inn has a three diamond award from AAA and is located in the bucolic town of Stanley, VA, 7 miles south of Luray, VA in the Shenandoah River Valley near the famous Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive. The Milton House bed and breakfast new owners, Ronnie and Yvonne, have brought in an eclectic mix of traditional English trinkets and antiques. Yvonne is from the United Kingdom and has collected English china teacups, eggcups and teapots. A cup of tea and a biscuit (cookie) are available at any time. Ronnie takes great pride in his garden and keeps the B & B appointed with plants and flowers. Yvonne's father Bill, a warm English gentleman, is here to greet you, along with; the four dogs, Sutton, Bailey, Ava Gabor and Noah; the two cats, Sadie Mae and Padington; and Vinnie the turtle. These are the hallmarks of Milton House Bed and Breakfast Inn. Enjoy one of our antique appointed rooms with private bath and fireplace (one with a Jacuzzi tub for two) or one of the Log Cabin suites with fireplaces and their own private Jacuzzi type hot tubs. The "Paisley Teapot" gift shop is now open, selling dolls, tea cups, Victorian memorabilia, English teas and more. Milton House Bed and Breakfast Inn is in the Shenandoah River Valley nestled between the Massanutten Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains, near the Shenandoah National Park, George Washington National Forest, New Market Battlefield and the Massanutten Ski Resort, Antique shops, Vineyards, Canoeing, Great Fishing, and Hiking.
